The main material of the product is M1 grade copper (copper content – not less than 99.9%), which has a number of advantages in comparison with stainless steel: it has colossal thermal conductivity (which is especially important in heat exchange equipment, eg, in condensers, coolers). This useful property is especially important when dealing with rectification towers, because rectification requires precise adjustment of the operating mode.
Copper also plays an important role in the formation of organoleptic properties of the product— both rectificate and distillate turn out to be much softer when produced in copper stills. At the same time many undesirable compounds (organic and fatty acids, sulfur compounds, acetals, ammonia) contained of any type of mash precipitate on the copper walls. It is the only way you can protect your product from these substances!
The positive effect of copper is greatly enhanced by the fact that two cylinder shells from the kit (total height — 80 cm) are tightly stuffed with Panchenkov copper mesh made of pure M0 grade copper. This is a high-quality Russian-manufactured mesh, thanks to which in the rectification mode the column is the source of heat- and mass-exchange processes that are necessary to obtain the product of the highest alcohol strength.
Rectification column «Yerevan» is equipped with modern TRI-CLAMP 1.5” connections, which are absolutely air-tight, secure and easy in operation. It opens wide opportunities for you to upgrade the still, because you can install additional cylinder shells, sight towers, helmets and other components with similar TRI-CLAMP 1.5” connections.
«Yerevan» still is a universal system that can be used both for rectification and for classic moonshine brewing – distillation. This is especially convenient, because you do not need to buy two different stills – they are already at your disposal all the time if you have «Yerevan».
«Yerevan» rectification column is equipped with a compact separation unit, which can be used fro separation of "foreshots", "feints", and food fractions. It is a universal accessory with a unique device developed by Max Cuprum laboratory.
Copper rectification moonshine still «Yerevan» kit has a powerful and economic 35 cm shell-and-tube main condenser.
Moreover, «Yerevan» is equipped with an additional jacket condenser – pre-cooler, thanks to which the finished product has room temperature, which is very important for correct separation of "foreshots", "body" and "feints".
The rectification column «Yerevan» kit includes a high-quality needle valve made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Thanks to this valve, you can precisely adjust separation of the product and the amount of reflux condensate.
